What information do we collect? How do we use it?

When you sign up, we need to know your name, e-mail address, and address. This allows us to send you newsletters and other information.

We may also use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important functionality changes to the Web site and the APA services.

How does APA-Europe protect user information?

We have set up secure systems for our database and web pages to prevent unauthorised attempts to get information. Furthermore, as required by the UK Data Protection Act 1998, and current industry best practice, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access.

What about "cookies"?

Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent this.. We only use cookies to store information about whether you want to see the site in other languages. We do not store personal details in cookies.

Will APA-Europe disclose the information it collects to outside parties?

APA-Europe will not sell, trade, rent or supply in any way your personal information to others.

We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf such as database administrators and web designers. Such companies and individuals will have access to personal information needed to perform these functions, but may not use it for any other purpose and are required to process the data in accordance with current data protection legislation.
