13. BS EN 1084 : 1995 (re-confirmed 2001) Plywood - Formaldehyde
release classes determined by the gas analysis method
(This standard is new work and, therefore, does not supersede any
existing British Standard).
BS EN 1084 defines the formaldehyde release classes for plywood as determined
by BS EN 717 : 1995. Wood-based panels - Determination of formaldehyde release
Part 2 : Formaldehyde release by the gas analysis method.
Three formaldehyde release classes are defined below:
